In my last newsletter I asked if you could help in raising money to buy bales of hay to take out to our struggling farmers out west. The support we received last weekend was heartwarming and brought me to tears. A total of $2440 was raised from Carriageworks, The Beaches and our local customers.. This money will go to Burrumbuttock Hay runners, founded by Brendan ‘Bumpa’ Farrell

Linga Longa has teamed up with our local Wingham branch of the Commonwealth Bank to help struggling farmers out west. The support we received last weekend was heartwarming and brought me to tears. A total of $2440 was raised from Carriageworks, The Beaches and our local customers.. This money will go to Burrumbuttock Hay runners, founded by Brendan ‘Bumpa’ Farrell whose motto is ‘keeping the dream alive’ Our local Wingham Branch of the CBA is organising this fundraiser and to date from donations from our community , raffles and a sausage sizzle in total they have raised over $8k. Their goal is to reach $15k so keep those donations coming in, this is the worst drought in the history of Australia and without farmers there will be no food in the future.
